Assignment #9


1. Briefly introduce the Harvard study on happiness.
   The study shows that they had find 3 things. The first is that social connections are really good for us, and that loneliness kills. Second is that is not just the number of friends you have, and it's not whether or not you're in committed relationship, but it's the quality of your close relationships. And the third is about relationships and our health is that good relationships don't just protect our bodies, they protect our brains.

2. Are you surprised by Dr. Robert’s findings? 
    Sure! He said the people who were the most satisfied in their relationships at age 50 were the healthiest at age 80. And the people in our 75-year study who were the healthiest in retirement were the people who had actively worked to replace workmates with new playmates.

3. According to your opinion, what makes a good life?

    Good relationships keep us happier and healthier.

Assignment #8

Do you procrastinate sometimes? SURE! This weekend I planed to finish 3 presentation. But, I spend 4 hours to take a nap and watching videos.
Why do you procrastinate? This answer is obvious. The entertainments have more fun than doing homework.
How to stop procrastinating? First, told myself just to start with a little bit of the homework. Let the start looks easier.  Second, Cut  my work into lots of small parts ,which can make the work looks easier to fulfill. Third, set a clock work 25 minutes and take a nap 5 minutes. When working I will have some ideas then I can write down first and do them in the break.
  (at least 1 minute)
*** This time, let’s try voice blog. Post your audio recording first, and then your texts.

(B) What is a smart speaker? It is a smart device like "siri".
(C) How does a smart speaker work? (at least 50 words) If you ask some questions to it. It will answer you. It's surface is like a acoustics, and it has AI inside. It can control household electronic appliances and some particular app.

1. Your thoughts about the topic we discussed today. You can comment on the Hyperloop system (strengths, risks, realistic or not), you can also comment on the transport system here in Taiwan (the problem and your suggestion):Hyperloop have a great strength : speed, Taiwanese transportation like bus train are too slow to get everywhere, nowadays people need faster and faster transportation to every place, so it have a enormous market.
